There are many hiking trails within the Kodachrome Basin. The Grand Parade Trail is a moderately easy hike that takes you to a wide variety of natural features in the basin. It’s a great place to take your kids, and a popular spot for photographers. It’s also an ideal place to watch wildlife. Many types of birds, snakes, and mice are found in the area.

The Kodachrome Basin is located about 22 miles southeast of Bryce Canyon National Park. It’s accessible by scenic Highway 12 and is well-signed. It is located approximately 300 miles south from Salt Lake City. The park is open all year, but it’s best to visit in spring and autumn, when the weather is more pleasant.
