River Wrangeller’s

If you’re planning a family vacation to the park, consider the River Wrangler’s Adventures for kids. This family-friendly activity will let kids experience the majesty of the national park while also interacting with native Alaskan wildlife. The park is managed and located in south central Alaska by the National Park Service. It was created under the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act of 1980.

Grizzly bears

The National Park Service has released more details regarding a recent fatal grizzly bear attack. The man was on a 10-day moose hunt with a friend when he was attacked. The man called for help using a distress message, and the Air National Guard coordinated an emergency rescue. The hunter was found with puncture wounds and lacerations by emergency personnel when they arrived. He was transported to several medical facilities for treatment. As of Monday afternoon, authorities have not released the man’s name.

Caribou
